  1. Get 4 cups water
  2. Prepare 1/2 cup chopped green onion
  3. Make ready 1/4 cup firm tofu, cubed
  4. Make ready 3-4 Tbsp white miso paste (fermented soy bean paste)
  5. Prepare 1 sheet (1/4 cup) nori (dried seaweed), cut into large rectangle
  6. Get sesame seeds

  1. Place water in a medium sauce pan and bring to a low simmer.
  2. Add nori and simmer for 5-7 minutes. In the meantime, place 3 Tbsp of miso into a small bowl, add a little hot water and whisk until smooth.
  3. Then add to the soup and stir. This will ensure it doesn’t clump.
  4. Add remaining ingredients to the pot and cook for another 5 minutes or so.
  5. Taste and add more miso or a pinch of sea salt if desired. Serve warm with sesame seeds.

These foods are easier to digest than others which helps kick start a rise in your glucose levels which in turn brings up your mood to a happier place.

Studies have found that this amino acid basically induces brain waves. This will better your brain’s focus while at the same calming the rest of your body.
