- Get 4 cups water
- Prepare 1/2 cup chopped green onion
- Make ready 1/4 cup firm tofu, cubed
- Make ready 3-4 Tbsp white miso paste (fermented soy bean paste)
- Prepare 1 sheet (1/4 cup) nori (dried seaweed), cut into large rectangle

- Place water in a medium sauce pan and bring to a low simmer.
- Add nori and simmer for 5-7 minutes. In the meantime, place 3 Tbsp of miso into a small bowl, add a little hot water and whisk until smooth.
- Then add to the soup and stir. This will ensure it doesn’t clump.
- Add remaining ingredients to the pot and cook for another 5 minutes or so.
- Taste and add more miso or a pinch of sea salt if desired. Serve warm with sesame seeds.

Some grains are really wonderful for fighting off bad moods. Quinoa, barley, millet, etc are great at helping you have a happier mood. They can help you feel full for longer also, helping you feel better. It’s not difficult to feel a little bit off when you feel hungry! These grains can elevate your mood because it’s easy for your body to digest them. These foods are easier to digest than others which helps kick start a rise in your glucose levels which in turn brings up your mood to a happier place.
Green tea is truly great for your mood. You just knew green tea had to be in this article somewhere, right? Green tea is chock-full of an amino acid referred to as L-theanine. Studies have found that this amino acid basically induces brain waves. This will better your brain’s focus while at the same calming the rest of your body.
