- Wash the Rice & strain the water & keep it aside
- Chop all the aforementioned veggies & keep readily available…Keep the Tempering Spices & rest other Masalas ready too
- Grate the Carrots & Amla & set aside & also, in a large & heavy bottomed pan/wok/pressure pan, etc. Add in the oil & ghee, together over the medium-high flame
- Add in the Tempering Spices to it, allow it to release its fine aroma & then add in the onions- sautΓ© for 2 mins until translucent & then, add in the rest other chopped & grated veggies to it- one by one, add in the salt too & sautΓ© for about 5 mins time
