  4. Make ready 4 pistachios slivered

  6. Prepare 1 teaspoon ghee

  2. Bring the milk to boil in a heavy bottom pan
  3. As it boils, reduce heat and add the condensed milk
  4. Keep boiling on Low heat as the milk reduces and thickens
  5. In the meanwhile, sauté the slivered nuts using ghee and keep aside
  6. As the milk is visibly thick, as the chopped bananas and mix
  7. Continue boiling while stirring occasionally
  8. As the bananas soften, mash them a bit(optional)
  9. Take off heat once the mix comes to a kheer/payasam consistency
  10. Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with sautéed nuts
  11. Let cool completely and refrigerate before serving
