  12. Prepare 12 . Tamarind pulp - 1 tspn
  13. Take 13 . Curry leaves
  14. Prepare 14 . Oil - 2 tbspn
  15. Prepare 15 . Salt to taste
  16. Make ready 16 . Water - 1/4 cup

This recipe takes comparatively more oil as we don't add water while cooking the masala or prawns. Add a tsp of mustard seeds and wait until they start spluttering.   1. Marinate the prawns with garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt. Let them marinate for 10 - 15 minutes.
  2. Dry roast coriander seeds, fenugreek seeds and dried red chilli in a pan till fragrant.
  3. Grind together 4 tbspn coconut, ginger and roasted spices with a little water in a blender to a coarse paste.
  4. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and when they splutter add curry leaves and onion and saute till lightly browned.
  5. Add ground paste and saute for 2 - 3 minutes.
  6. Add marinated prawns, salt, tamarind pulp, 2 tbspn grated coconut and water. Cook till prawns are done. - Serve hot garnished with grated coconut. - Prawns sukka ready.
