- Make ready curry leaves
- Get 2 onions small
Steps to make Kerala Beef Curry:
- Firstly grind small onions, chillies, garlic, ginger, curry leaves to a fine paste. Set aside
- Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seed.
- After it splutters add onions
- Cook until it gets brown. Add tomatoes and saute it till it gets smashed.
- Add the grinded paste and mix well.
- Add spices: garam masala, chili powder, curry powder, corriander powder and yellow powder and salt and heat it. Make sure it does not get burnt.
- Add beef and mix it well with the rest of the ingredients.
- Add water and put it for 2 steams on high flame followed by 6 steams on low flame.
- For seasoning, heat the oil and add mustard seed till it splutters.
- Add small onions, red chilli and curry leaves till it get brown.
- Switch off the flame and add this to the beef curry.
- Serve with rice. Enjoy!!
