To begin with this recipe, we have to prepare a few components. You can cook lagana (greek bread) using 8 ingredients and 4 steps. Here is how you cook that.

The ingredients needed to make Lagana (Greek Bread):
  1. Make ready 400 grams All-Purpose-Flour
  2. Take 200 grams Whole Wheat Flour
  3. Get 350 grams warm Water
  4. Get 1-9 grams teaspoon Dry Yeast
  5. Prepare 1 tablespoon Sugar
  6. Prepare 3 tablespoons Vegetable Oil
  7. Prepare 1 teaspoon Salt
  8. Take Plenty of Sesame Seeds 🙂
Steps to make Lagana (Greek Bread):
  1. In a small bowl add 50 grams of warm water, yeast and sugar. Set this aside for about 20 minutes. At some point you should be able to see a bit of movement going on, it should start to bubble.
  2. Whisk flours, salt and vegetable oil in a large bowl. Then make a hole in the middle of the flour mix and add in the yeast mix that was set aside earlier. Start kneading the bread by hand and slowly start to add in the rest of the warm water.
  3. When your done kneading cover the dough with a piece of plastic wrap and a towel and place the dough somewhere warm for 2 hours. This will help the dough rise.
  4. Separate the dough into 2 pieces…this recipe makes 2 large pieces of bread. What I did was made 1 large and 3 small pieces 🙂 If you have large counter space its best to roll it out with a rolling pin. Spread some flour onto the rolling pin so that the dough does not stick to the rolling pin, and some flour onto the surface, and start to roll out an oval shape bread. - - Now here is a great tip for the Sesame Seeds to stick…once you shaped the dough, dip a brush into water and spread water all

Use Food to Improve Your Mood

In general, people have been trained to think that “comfort” foods are bad for the body and must be avoided. Sometimes, if the comfort food is a high sugar food or another junk food, this holds true. Otherwise, comfort foods can be super nutritious and good for you. A number of foods really do elevate your mood when you eat them. If you feel a little bit down and need a happiness pick me up, try some of these.

Eggs, you might be amazed to learn, are terrific at fighting depression. You need to be sure, however, that what you make includes the egg yolk. The egg yolk is the part of the egg that is the most important in terms of helping raise your mood. Eggs, the yolk particularly, are high in B vitamins. B vitamins can genuinely help you improve your mood. This is because they help in bettering the function of your neural transmitters, the components of your brain that control your mood. Eat an egg and feel a lot happier!

Make a trail mixout of different seeds and nuts. Your mood can be raised by eating peanuts, almonds, cashews, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, etcetera. This is because seeds and nuts have a lot of magnesium which increases your brain’s serotonin levels. Serotonin is known as the “feel good” substance that our body produces and it tells your brain how you should be feeling at all times. The more serotonin you have, the more pleasant you are going to feel. Not just that, nuts, in particular, are a great source of protein.

If you would like to beat depression, try eating some cold water fish. Cold water fish such as tuna, trout and wild salmon are chock full of DHA and omega-3 fats. DHA and omega-3s are two things that really help the grey matter in your brain function a lot better. It’s true: eating a tuna fish sandwich can greatly raise your mood.

Grains can be great for driving away a bad mood. Quinoa, barley, teff, millet, etc are all good for helping you feel better. These grains fill you up better and that can help improve your moods too. It’s not difficult to feel depressed when you are starving! The reason these grains are so great for your mood is that they are not difficult to digest. They are easier to digest than other foods which helps bring up your blood sugar levels and that, in turn, elevates your mood.

Green tea is wonderful for moods. You just knew green tea had to be mentioned, right? Green tea has been found to be packed full of an amino acid referred to as L-theanine. Studies have discovered that this amino acid essentially stimulates brain waves. This helps improve your mental energy while at the same time relaxing the rest of your body. You probably already knew it is not difficult to get healthy when you consume green tea. Now you are aware that it can help you be happier as well!

So you see, you don’t need to consume all that junk food when you want to feel better! Try a couple of of these suggestions instead.
