  1. Wash the chicken drum sticks, leave the skin on it and make two slits on each drumstick
  2. Place the drum sticks in a bowl and add the chicken masala,coriander, chilli, turmeric, garam masala, salt, lemon juice and the ginger and garlic pastes
  3. Let it marinate for an hour or atleast 30mins if you are in a rush
  4. Once ready to cook, heat the oil in a frying pan and add the curry leaves and the diced onion
  5. I love the smell of the curry leaves in this dish
  6. Once the onions have softened, add the marinated chicken and cook on medium heat until the chicken is well browned and cooked through on the inside
  7. Transfer to a serving plate and garnish with freshly chopped coriander and spring onion
